BDT und DAT treten WDC-AL bei

Oh, noch nicht mit den neuen Abkürzungen und Logos vertraut? Also der Berufsverband Deutscher Tanzlehrer e.V. (BDT) das Deutsche Amateur Turnieramt (DAT) sind dem Amateurbereich des World Dance Council (WDC-AL) beigetreten. Mit dem WDC hatte die Internationale Dancesport Federation (IDSF) keine Gespräche führen wollen und dies hatte zu Spannungen zwischen dem Deutschen Tanzsportverband (DTV) und den Professionals (DPV) geführt. Das IDSF plante eine Professional Division, deren Verwaltung in und für Deutschland noch unklar war. Welche Zuständigkeit sollte der DPV haben? Schließlich waren die deutschen Professionals, also der DPV beim DTV ausgetreten. Nun wiederrum wird auf internationaler Ebene der Amateur-Bereich beim WDC gestärkt und als Wettbweber zur IDSF aufgestellt:

BDT/DAT treten der WDC Amateur League bei,
NDCA kündigt Zusammenarbeit mit IDSF.

Wer die Übersicht verloren hat: Die Verbände IDSF und WDC erweitern ihre Angebote. IDSF und WDC bieten nun beide für Amatuere und Professionals jeweils selbst und in eigener Regie oder (“exklusiver”) Kooperation mit anderen Verbänden Veranstaltungen an.

Die m)))motion International Dance Masters werden zusammen mit der WDC AL Amateur League in Mannheim 2011 organisiert.

Taking place in Mannheim from Saturday 4th of June to Sunday 5th of June. We will hold the WDC AL Amateur League, German DAT Championships 2011, which include the following disciplines Modern / Latin for hobby, rising stars, sports couples, Formation, German DAT Videoclip Championships for singles, duos, small groups as well as formations.

BDT/DAT treten der WDC Amateur League bei

BDT/DAT join WDC Amateur League

The WDC AL is pleased to announce that the German BDT/DAT have joined the WDC Amateur League which will increase further the number of events open to those dancers who wish the Freedom to Dance and plan their own careers.

Firther talks are currently taking place with other interested parties in Germany and shortly a further Press Release will be issued with information concerning the outcome.

The momentum regarding the influence of the WDC AL is now growing daily.

Keine IDSF-Competitions mit der NDCA in den USA

Der nationale Tanzsportverband der USA NDCA hat die bisherige Zusammenarbeit mit der IDSF aufgekündigt.

“It is the decision of this council that approval under this rule will not be given to IDSF sanctioned events for the foreseeable future. Additionally, existing approval for IDSF events at the Embassy Championships, and the Desert Classic are cancelled with immediate effect.”

This means that IDSF will not be able to organise competitions in conjunction with NDCA in the USA.
