Youtube-Video: Copenhagen Central Station: The contagious Dance Mob

A celebration of the
International Day of Dance 2012
This flash mob was formed originally by around 120 participants – but we ended up involving many more when it was performed!
It contains Stomp, Lindy hop, Charleston and Disco/Soultrain involving a happy mix of different established dancegroups, but the majority consist of people with little or no previous dance experience. Everything was put together at a general rehearsal only a few hours before hitting the Central Station.
The train that you see arrive in the beginning of the video had been driving through all of Denmark (Aalborg – Copenhagen) on this day. On the route, the passengers were exposed to dance mobs on the train station platforms in 8 different danish cities. At their arrival to Copenhagen Central Station we welcomed them with this domino inspired dance mob, following the passengers from the tracks, up the stairs through the main area and out of the station. We had SO much fun and the party contiuned outside :-)
